UNC Basketball: Annual Blue-White Scrimmage Announced with a New Twist

A New Era for the Blue-White Scrimmage

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's annual Blue-White Scrimmage is back, but with a new twist. This year's event will be held on October 15th, 2023, at the Dean E. Smith Center. The scrimmage will be the first chance for fans to see the 2023-2024 Tar Heels in action. This year's scrimmage will feature a new format, with the game being played in two halves of 20 minutes each. In previous years, the scrimmage was played in two halves of 15 minutes each. The new format will give fans a chance to see more of the team and get a better look at the players.

What to Expect at the Blue-White Scrimmage

The Blue-White Scrimmage is a great opportunity for fans to get a first look at the team and see how they are shaping up for the upcoming season. The scrimmage will also be a chance for fans to see some of the new players on the team, including freshmen Seth Trimble and Tyler Nickel. The scrimmage will be free and open to the public. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Tar Heels.

Other Upcoming Events

In addition to the Blue-White Scrimmage, there are several other upcoming events that Tar Heel fans should mark on their calendars. On October 22nd, the team will host an open practice at the Dean E. Smith Center. The practice will be free and open to the public. On October 29th, the team will play an exhibition game against Elizabeth City State University. The game will be played at the Dean E. Smith Center and will be free to attend.
